About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

IT Procurement Officer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement processes for IT hardware, software, and services. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve optimal cost savings. Coordinate with IT, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery. Evaluate vendor performance and maintain supplier databases. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations. Prepare purchase orders, reports, and documentation for internal approvals. Manage annual renewals of software licenses and IT-related service agreements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (IT background preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT procurement or a related role. Strong knowledge of IT equipment, networking products, and software licensing. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement software. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

Experience in AV/ELV or technology-based companies. UAE market knowledge and existing supplier network.
