Position Overview
Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf Dubai is hiring an IT Network Technician to support engineering and facilities operations by maintaining reliable data network infrastructure across the property. This full-time, non-management role focuses on structured cabling, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical coordination to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with facilities teams and internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and service needs
• Plan and support installation, relocation, upgrades, and changes to network and system equipment
• Diagnose and resolve data network issues and irregular technical faults
• Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and performance
• Maintain organized data network cabinets to ensure current coded standards and efficient workflows
• Work with CAT 5, fiber optic, and power cabling standards
• Support special events, large moves, and major system changes as required
• Execute assigned IT and infrastructure projects
• Maintain accurate inventory of network devices, tools, and materials
• Complete technical reports in line with agreed service level requirements
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies and complete required training
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and supervisors
• Support team objectives and act as a role model within the department

Ideal Profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in network or IT infrastructure support
• Practical knowledge of structured cabling, network hardware, and data systems
• Valid driving license
• Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues independently
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Physically capable of handling equipment and installation tasks
• Comfortable using computer systems for documentation and reporting
