We are looking for an IT Network Specialist to provide highly effective, reliable and efficient technical support and supervision for the timely delivery of operations and projects, pertaining to the Contract managed active network and infrastructure. Encompassing design, monitoring, installation and configuration, planned reactive and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and remedial repairs on defined network and systems. These include troubleshooting and maintaining all IT infrastructure assets & security network for the Galleria Mall & ADGMs contracts.

Our specialist will be expected to assist in providing a lead support functionary of the Contract IT Services, that allows contract services to function, both internally and externally. Encouraged to work autonomously within your role, and supervising the team accordingly when required, prioritising workload and tasks effectively under the guidance of the IT Manager. He/She is expected to be responsible for maintaining and developing scalable network architectures that meet business objective and SLAs.

Key accountabilities
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintaining, the contract active & passive network infrastructure, and associated systems \xe2\x80\x93 including servers, workstations, switches, routers, servers and firewall.
Setup, calibration, and technical support for network services, supporting backbone infrastructure, under the Project Agreement.
Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users, systems, and services.
Oversee and support network maintenance and troubleshoot tasks and be familiar with the network infrastructure (cable and patch panels, hubs, switches, router).
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
Evaluate local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes

Specific requirements
Have at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in IT and network security systems, TCP/IP, Internetworking, DHCP, WINS, IIS, and DNS, WiFi, firewall, servers, and workstations
Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Proven experience with high-end networking technologies and protocols e.g. Quality of Service (QoS), IPv4/6, etc
Extensive experience of support and provisioning of routers and firewalls in a similar role.
Ability to trouble-shoot complex networking, routing, and switching problems.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering.
Preferably CompTIA Network+ credentials, or certifications in CCNA or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer required.
CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
PCNSE Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
Preferably for other credentials to be considered as Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), City & Guilds Higher Professional Diploma in Information Management Using ICT, or IT Practitioners Level 4, OCR (iPRO) Higher Level award for IT Professionals (ICT Systems Support) Level 4, NVQs for IT Professionals at levels 3 and 4.
Experience in IT administration and management, operational procedures, technical specifications, disaster recovery plans, and system backup schedules.
Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the converged IT and network security field.
