GCC Exchange is looking for IT Network Engineer

Description of Duties

1. Maintaining LAN and WAN architecture according to business policy. 2. Analyzing and implementing new security protocols as precautionary measures for enhanced efficiency against threats or malfunctions. 3. Resolving existing security issues, including hardware malfunctions. 4. Tracking vulnerable scripts to prevent potential threats. 5. Generating and maintaining the virtual private network, firewalls, web protocols, and email security decorum. 6. Reporting the results of security analysis. 7. Ensuring compliance with ISMS policy (Information System Management Systems). 8. Investigating security breach alerts. 9. Developing security authentication protocols. 10. Maintaining servers and switches. 11. Implementing and maintaining SOP for Network Security. 12. Preparing status reports of hardware and software products as per set policies. 13. Recommending modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas that impact IT security. 14. Knowledge of performing routing protocols (MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QOS, and WAN). 15. Monitoring web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, and endpoint security.

Requirement (qualifications and specifics)

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or a similar role. 3. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. 4. Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve network issues. 5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
