Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong background in network configuration and design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 switches, routers, access points, firewalls, and CCTV systems, as well as site-to-site VPNs. You will play a key role in ensuring our network infrastructure runs efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Configuration:

Configure and maintain Layer 1, Layer 2 (e.g., Cisco Catalyst, HP ProCurve), and Layer 3 (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) switches.

Routing:

Set up and manage routers (e.g., Cisco ISR, Mikrotik) for optimal data flow and connectivity.

Wireless Access Points:

Deploy and manage access points (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti) to ensure reliable wireless coverage and performance.

Firewalls:

Implement and manage firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto) to secure network traffic.

CCTV Integration:

Design and integrate CCTV camera systems for surveillance and monitoring.

VPN Setup:

Configure site-to-site VPNs for secure remote connectivity and data access.

Active Directory:

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with Windows Server and Active Directory.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes.
Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on experience in the IT field, specifically in network engineering. Proficient in configuring and managing Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking equipment. Experience with firewall configuration and management. Familiarity with site-to-site VPN setups. Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory integration. Valid driver's license is required.
Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
