POSITION
Chief Information Officer | IT Manager
LOCATION
Fujairah UAE

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Chief Information Officer / IT Manager leads the overall technical operations, engineering systems, and smart infrastructure of a prestigious VVIP private estate. The role ensures that all technical services, including smart home automation, IT systems, AV, ERP platforms, cybersecurity, and engineering infrastructure are fully integrated, secure, energy-efficient, and aligned with the luxury, safety, and privacy standards of a royal residence.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
- Bacheloru0027s or Masteru0027s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong knowledge of UAE local authority regulations, compliance codes, and Civil Defence standards
- Professional certifications in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or ERP systems highly regarded
EXPERIENCE
- 10-15 yearsu0027 technical leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years in senior management within high-end residential estates, royal residences, luxury hospitality, or smart property environments
- Proven hands-on experience managing MEP systems, IT infrastructure, AV systems, BMS, and automation platforms
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical teams and vendors
- Proven track record delivering large-scale technical projects and system upgrades
KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Management
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenant, user accounts, licensing, and security
- Configure and manage SharePoint Online sites and permissions
- Develop document management workflows and approval systems
- Ensure data governance, compliance, and backup protocols
- Provide user training and technical support
ERP Implementation - Odoo
- Lead full Odoo ERP implementation from requirements to deployment
- Customize modules to align with estate operational processes
- Manage integrations with other business systems
- Oversee user permissions, documentation, and system optimization
- Deliver post-implementation training and ongoing improvements
Technical & Engineering Oversight
- Full responsibility for estate-wide electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency systems
- Oversight of installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Ensure energy optimization and system integration across the estate
Smart Systems & Automation
- Expertise in KNX, Control4, Lutron, Savant, or equivalent automation platforms
- Integration of lighting, climate, AV, security, and remote management systems
- Oversight of network infrastructure and seamless connectivity
IT & Cybersecurity Management
- Secure and maintain server infrastructure, LAN/WAN, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity, access control, and data protection protocols
- Coordinate telecom providers and external vendors
Project Management & Procurement
- Lead technical projects from concept to completion
- Manage budgets, SLAs, contractor performance, and procurement
- Ensure all equipment meets luxury estate standards
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defense and HSE standards
- Conduct risk assessments, system audits, and inspections
- Maintain operational safety across all technical services
Leadership & Service Excellence
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (engineers, IT, AV, HVAC, contractors)
- Conduct training, evaluations, and performance management
- Provide strategic technical advice to estate leadership
- Maintain discretion and silent service delivery within VVIP environment
