This role acts as the primary bridge between business operations in EMEA and the central IT function in India. The IT Manager will ensure seamless alignment between business priorities and technology solutions while driving user adoption, improving processes, and enabling digital transformation across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Management
Serve as the key interface between regional business leaders and central IT teams.
Ensure accurate communication of business requirements, project expectations, and technology initiatives.
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders to drive technology value.
2. Business Process Analysis & Improvement
Identify process gaps, pain points, and areas for improvement across local operations.
Analyze business needs and align them with global IT standards and solutions.
Recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and productivity.
3. Project Management & Deployment
Lead or support IT deployment projects including application upgrades, system integrations, and new technology rollouts.
Track and report progress, risks, and milestones to central IT and regional leadership.
Ensure successful project execution within scope, timeline, and budget.
4. Training & Change Enablement
Train end users on global applications, systems, and optimized business processes.
Drive change management initiatives to enhance adoption of new technologies.
Maintain strong feedback loops to continuously improve user experience and system effectiveness.
Candidate Specification
Education
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in IT Management, Sales/Marketing, or related specializations (preferred).
Certifications such as SAP, PMP, or ITIL are an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of IT leadership experience within Supply Chain or Manufacturing, preferably in FMCG or Life Sciences sectors.
Proven experience in IT business partnering, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working in matrix environments with multicultural and virtual teams.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes in FMCG/Life Sciences.
Proficiency in SAP and analytics/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Ability to leverage AI-based tools to solve business challenges.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership with the ability to bridge cultural gaps and manage diverse stakeholders.
