We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the infrastructure for the survey operations. The role involves managing IT hardware, Windows Server environments, IT workstations, storage solutions, and network systems. You will ensure reliable survey equipment setup, smooth data flow, and effective troubleshooting, working closely with survey teams and IT colleagues.
Your responsibilities as an IT Infrastructure Engineer :

• Deploy, configure, and manage survey equipment, servers, workstations, and storage systems.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Oversee workplace IT management, including desktops, laptops, and end-user devices.
• Manage and optimize storage solutions (NAS, cloud storage).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Collaborate with surveyors, data analysts, and IT personnel.

Your qualities:

• Experience in hardware management (survey equipment, servers, workstations).
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with workplace IT management.
• Knowledge of storage technologies (NAS, cloud).
• Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• If possible, but not necessary, familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.

• Your team: Part of IT second line team. Consisting of Network Engineers and modern workplace engineers.
• Where you will work: You will work from our office in Abu Dhabi.
• Full-time/part-time job: The position of IT Infrastructure Engineer is full-time.
