The IT Helpdesk Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software of the remote Offices, providing end-user support to office staff as well as remotely to other offices worldwide. Position reports directly to Senior IT Helpdesk Engineer in Dubai.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
Provides direct front line software and hardware support by the helpdesk platform.
Configures new user workstation equipment, user accounts, corporate software.
Updates and manage the IT asset inventory.
Performs periodic maintenance on corporate client devices according to corporate policies.
Support global implementations software/hardware.
Coordinates with IT suppliers to meet Corporate IT requirements.
Contacts periodically Branch offices to get feedback about any IT issue.
Ensures implementation of global IT policies.
Ensures issues are tracked, resolved in a timely manner.
Documents procedures and implementations.
