We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and experienced

IT Expert

to manage and strengthen the technological infrastructure of our institution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a strong understanding of modern IT systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.

This role is suited for professionals who are passionate about technology-driven innovation, operational efficiency, and maintaining a secure, reliable IT environment. As an IT Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all technology platforms that support academic and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

Manage, maintain, and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, and enterprise applications. Ensure system performance, scalability, and uptime through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance. Administer user accounts, access controls, and data backup procedures.

2. IT Security & Compliance

Implement, monitor, and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard institutional data. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and system audits to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

3. Technical Leadership & Project Management

Provide technical leadership and guidance for IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and new deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with institutional goals. Develop project documentation, timelines, and technical specifications for smooth execution.

4. Troubleshooting & Support

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues. Maintain high system availability and implement effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Provide timely end-user support and ensure minimal disruption to academic and administrative activities.

5. Technology Evaluation & Innovation

Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and innovation. Recommend system improvements, automation opportunities, and digital transformation strategies. Align IT capabilities with the institution's long-term business and academic objectives.

6. Vendor & Asset Management

Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure timely delivery of IT services and support. Manage IT contracts, licenses, and subscriptions to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness. Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventories, and IT infrastructure records.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Minimum Qualification Required:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualification:

Master's degree or higher in IT/Computer Science; professional certifications such as

CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified IT Professional

, or similar.

Experience Required:

At least

2-3 years of progressive experience

in IT roles involving systems management, networking, and security.

Technical & Soft Skills

Proficiency in network administration, system configuration, and cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.). Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and data protection practices. Hands-on experience with hardware/software troubleshooting and IT service management. Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
