- Assist Aramex customers for setting up E-tools (ClickToShip, Aramex.com, API Integrations, EDI, Plugins, Webhooks etc.)
- Assess and provide solutions to customers in terms of integrating with Aramex, and coordinate with concerned internal business and technical teams towards achieving the requirements
- Maintain constant continual customer relationships and attend promptly to all the support required to implementing and/or troubleshooting
- Maintain logs and details of all customized solutions provided to customers for achieving integrations, EDI etc.
- Coordinate with internal business and operations units to understand and evaluate their requirements, and design new in-house application after appropriate evaluation and approval
- Develop and manage the various Aramex in-house applications (developed internally and by external parties)
- Conducting analysis, design, planning, and implementation using a holistic approach for successful development and execution of Aramex strategy
- Making sure the code written covers all cases of error handling and showing proper friendly messages to the customers, and the development process is implemented as per standards, best practices, and latest technologies
- Continuously work with corporate technical teams in common initiatives related to integrations, EDI, in-house applications, projects and other dependency systems
- Managing, follow-ups and maintaining relationships with external parties taking care of development of any in-house application
- Supervise, follow-up and evaluate the projects/tasks given to external IT companies/contractors
- Use proper communication channels with the team members, customers, and external parties to improve work efficiency and avoid conflicts.
- Provide trainings as required for internal and external parties on the in-house applications as applicable
- Maintain local application and database servers, and responsible for those hosted in local datacenter.
- Maintain inventory of all IT related assets related to customers, in-house applications, development and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelors in IT/Computer Science/MIS
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in application and/or software development
- Experience in at least one (or more) major backend development language (Java, .NET C# or PHP)
- Knowledge of different types of Software and Integration Testing
- Experience working in Electronic data interchange (EDI), FTP/SFTP connection setups and message queuing systems
- Knowledge and experience in working with APIs , Web Services , SOAPUI, POSTMAN, MSSQL, HTML, Databases, XML, JSON, Visual Studio, VB.NET
- Experience working with E-commerce platforms like Shopify, Wordpress, Magento, OpenCart etc is a plus
- Experience working with logistics and transportation solutions is a plus
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google is a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Excellent command in English (writing, speaking and reading)
- Proven ability to undertake analysis, coding, development, testing and support for projects and Information Systems
- Well organized and time management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment
