JOB OBJECTIVE The IT DevOps Infrastructure Engineer reports to the IT Infrastructure Work Package Manager.

The IT DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

builds and implements new development tools and infrastructure services

automates and improves development and release processes

reviews code from peers

implements security controls for safe and resilient systems

identifies technical problems, resolves them and provides updates to fix them

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop code to manage the infrastructure components (deployment, integration, configuration and testing)

Participate in the system requirements definition related to the IT Infrastructure

Define and propose innovative solutions that meet customer requirements in compliance with product / system technical strategy

Responsible for the delivery of project deliverables concerning the IT Infrastructure (source code, configuration, software packages, release document, requirements, design documents, interface documents, installation and maintenance procedures, test procedures and reports)

Work with IT Security team in order to minimize risks linked to IT Security and to implement security controls

Prepare training materials and conduct training to peers and customers

Participate in internal and customer technical meetings

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Familiar with Agile practices

Experience in developing applications for large company/projects

Working experience in the following domains:

Infrastructure services: computing, storage, virtualization, network

Implementing IT security controls (endpoint protection, PKI, server hardening, network security, VM security)

minimum 5 years' experience in DevOps, scripting, automation using the following technologies

Ansible, Git, Jenkins or GitLab CI

Python, shell scripting

Docker, virtual machines

Linux administration

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

BSc in computer science or equivalent qualification

Qualifications in IT Infrastructure subsystems (network, communication, datacenter, virtualization, software integration, etc.)

Preferred certifications in DevOps

PREFERRED SKILLS

Good technical analysis and problem-solving skills

Able to work in a multi-disciplined environment
