Seeking a dynamic, go-getting IT Business Partner to act as primary IT point of contact to G42s Business Unit leaders & employees, providing strategic consulting support for business technology development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
The opportunity To use your expertise to play the role of consultant to G42 Business Units & department heads, understanding their business, identifying their IT requirements and developing relevant IT solutions for them in collaboration with corporate IT.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Head of IT GRC, you will play the role of trusted advisor to G42s Business Units, build strong relationships with their stakeholders and act as a liaison between them and the IT Services teams.
Functional:
Engage with Business Unit/Department heads to understand the business and support the development, implementation and delivery of relevant IT solutions in line with their business objectives.
Gather and communicate business needs with appropriate IT solution team to gain alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
Lead development of business cases requiring IT-based solutions, provide input and communicate the service catalog to better meet business needs.
Maintain business knowledge to identify conicts/synergies between technologies and the business.
Work with architects to design solutions that support the business processes and assist with the alignment of Business Unit specific roadmaps.
Own the prioritization of Business Unit specific projects and align Business Unit change requests for shared technology with applicable release schedules.
Partner with all business stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of business architecture changes required to deliver business outcomes.
Promote effective use of technology to improve productivity, eliminate waste and process simplicity.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies and, where appropriate, make recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies.
Proactively engage the business leadership to identify opportunities where technology can build competitive advantage and improve efficiency of the Business Unit.
Qualifications: Your performance will be measured on the percentage variation from allocated budgets, cost savings enjoyed by the Business Unit, quantum of existing solutions & processes optimized, number of services digitized, number of risks assessed and internal customer NPS.
To qualify, you must have
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields
Minimum 12 years of experience in IT with exposure to a broad range of technical environments
At least 6 years of experience in strategic planning and/ or client management in diverse and complex IT business segments

Ideally, youll also need
In-depth domain knowledge of Business Units
A solution oriented approach to challenges
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
