The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensures the success of projects from an operational effectiveness and excellence across the concerned business Units and Departments. One would be required re-design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational/monetary effectiveness.
The Business Analyst\'s primary objective is to design and assist in the implementation of technical solutions in a cost-effective way by understanding the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.
Your key responsibilities:
Track and evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implements solutions that will positively impact the company.
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Act as the functional expert on the specified business techniques and application(s).
Work directly with appropriate personnel to understand concept, objectives and approach.
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
Document and communicate the results of efforts made.
Assists Business Unit/Department Managers in developing tactical and strategic services and/or programs to support the business unit\'s goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).
Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, application functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer applications
Consults with Nextcare\'s personnel to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications.
Coordinates the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications for specified applications. Reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.
Develops effective reporting tools for the business unit.
Analyzes the business unit\'s activities and trends and compares analyses against the service standards and best practices. Presents findings and works with the Head of Units and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
Analyzes trends and recommends adjustments address and/or capitalize on trends
What you bring
Bachelor\'s Degree; Business Administration / IT background preferred
3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
Fluent in English and Arabic. French recommended. Other language appreciated
Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills
Fluent in English
Analysis and reporting abilities
Knowledge of Business Planning and Management
Strong Communication and Presentation coupled with strong mathematical aptitude
Technical Industry and/or Profession Expertise
Proven ability to re-engineer and develop policies and procedures, re-design workflow to meet operational and revenue related requirements, including the designing and documenting detailed process flows, and the development of operational performance and quality metric standards and reports
Show flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience
Physically fit to carry out duties
Legally permitted to work in the country of operations
An experience with UAE regulatory bodies (e.g. DHA, DoH, MOPH, IA) is a plus
