Aufgaben
Your purpose:


Take ownership of managing and supporting business applications across company and General distributors network. Play a key role in gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and facilitating implementation. Oversee all aspects of IT support for applications, as well as digitalization and automation initiatives, and ensure all solutions comply with Mercedes-Benz policies and standards. Provide expert consultation, manage user administration, and extract data for business analysis as needed. Identify opportunities for system improvements, propose solutions, and manage or assist with enhancement projects. Coordinate and guide users through the UAT cycle to ensure successful outcomes. Maintain and improve IT Security and Data Protection Standards.


Your Responsibilities:


Consultancy Services


Business Analyst will provide consultancy services as part of an end to end solution for MBCME/RLC /Training center whenever required, including:

Gather, validate and document new business requirements Propose ideas and initiatives to enhance processes and systems Recommend tailor-made IT services and solutions aligned with business needs Identify requirements and collaborate with architects and specialists to ensure quality and successful delivery of IT services and solutions Provide expert consultancy on data strategy, analytics tools, and related processes

Application management and support


Business Analyst will take technical ownership of Sales and Operation Systems, regional corporate website and financial application, including:

Provide first-level support by consolidating and evaluating incidents, delivering daily technical assistance to users Act as the primary point of contact for Market Managers on technical issues at the dealer level (e.g., login tools, VPN, applications), troubleshoot problems, escalate when necessary, and maintain a knowledge base for common queries Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions Maintain accurate records of incidents and updates, and create or revise IT and user manuals Analyze and support the implementation of business requirements and customizations, aligning development efforts with stakeholders on timelines and budgets Participate in the application lifecycle, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations Resolve identified security risks and ensure applications meet IT security standards and compliance with internal security policies Coordinate with security and business teams to maintain documentation, compliance, and operational stability Implement and manage User Access Management, standardizing roles and access profiles across markets, ensuring timely approvals and removals, and leading the rollout of an automated, centralized access portal Develop efficient support processes and establish a new Support Desk for improved service delivery

Automation and digitalization


Business Analyst will support digital transformation initiatives and drive automation strategies across the organization, including:

Assist in the planning and execution of IT digital transformation projects Contribute to the development and implementation of digitalization strategies Identify and analyze opportunities for process optimization and standardization in collaboration with business partners Coordinate and consult with local and international stakeholders to align on best practices Define and recommend the optimal IT approach for automation and digitalization using approved internal tools Design future-state ("To-Be") processes and data flows to maximize efficiency, reduce throughput time, and improve quality Monitor and report progress against agreed project milestones Ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz policies, procedures, and standards for quality and security Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in designated repositories

Policies, Security & Standards (Governance)


Business Analyst will ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz policies, security standards, and governance requirements for MBCME, RLC, and Training Centre, including:

Implement information security processes in alignment with security principles, policies, and guidance from the local Information Security Officer Execute processes for implementing and maintaining security controls across applications and systems Identify and resolve security risks, ensuring timely mitigation Protect applications by defining access privileges, control structures, and resource allocation Ensure processing of all Mercedes-Benz information according to internal policies Coordinate testing activities, including performance testing and penetration testing Establish and manage documentation, including guidelines, logs, and audit trails Report on non-compliance issues and recommend best practices based on local, regional, and global security standards

Financial Management

Business Analyst will support the CIO in managing financial activities related to IT operations and projects, including: Verify and process IT invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with operational planning (OP) for applications, automation, and digitalization projects Plan and manage renewals of IT contracts in alignment with organizational requirements Oversee and maintain IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure performance standards are met Provide visibility into costs, consumption, and performance of IT services and solutions

Qualifikationen
Your profile:


Educational Background


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related filed


Technical knowledge

Project Management Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics D365, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and SharePoint Understanding of FOSS principles and usage Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform Understanding of IT security and data protection Experience with ITSM tools

Soft skills/individual competence

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Solution-oriented mindset Ability to prioritize workload and respond effectively to business needs A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative Pioneering spirit, embracing innovation and continuous learning Excellent English, both spoken and written
