Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on

I.T. Assistant

with experience in the

Food & Beverage industry

, to support the daily operations of our restaurant chain. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining POS systems, handling backend software issues, ensuring stable network and internet connectivity, and managing basic hardware and cabling tasks. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of restaurant technology environments and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site and remote support for

POS (Point of Sale) systems

across multiple restaurant branches. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to

restaurant management software

, backend systems, and inventory software. Set up and maintain

network systems

, including routers, Wi-Fi, switches, and internet connectivity. Handle and organize

network cables

,

LAN connections

, and other hardware installations. Perform routine checks and maintenance on

hardware systems

(computers, printers, POS terminals, KOT printers, etc.). Coordinate with software vendors and external tech support as needed for escalated issues. Monitor and update system backups and software licenses regularly. Assist with onboarding of new branches by setting up I.T. infrastructure (POS, internet, cabling). Maintain I.T. documentation, including system configuration, IP mapping, and asset inventory. Provide training and basic tech support to restaurant staff when needed. Ensure minimal downtime during restaurant operations through proactive support and quick resolution of issues.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an

I.T. support role

, preferably within the

restaurant or hospitality industry

. Knowledge of

POS systems

(e.g. Foodics) and

restaurant software

. Basic understanding of

networking

, IP configuration, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks. Familiarity with

Windows-based systems

, cloud-based platforms, and general troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to travel to different restaurant locations when needed. Diploma or Degree in I.T., Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
