IT Application Developer (POWERSCHOOL) | Universal American School | Dubai
About the Role:
To define, Lead and manage the application development, architecture, security and recoverability of all application services on apple and windows platform.
Key Responsibilities.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate till completion for the new application development
- Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
- Devise an effective design prototypes according to specifications
- Support an IT security strategy while ensuring compliance with internal policies and country regulations
- Write high quality source code program and complete applications within deadlines
- Perform unit integration testing before launch
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing
- Develop and maintain agile, high speed, secure offshore communication systems
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram update and add new features
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
- Design, develop and install - application/reporting enhancements and upgrades

- Responsible for creating and updating the school data dashboard
