The primary mission of the IT Administrator it to oversee and manage administrative tasks within the IT Department. This role is responsible for all asset procurement, vendor and supplier management, basic user support (including password resets and other basic troubleshooting) and assigning IT Helpdesk tickets to the local IT team.
The position is also responsible for the day-to-day delivery of business activities.
This position will report directly to the Local IT Manager and will closely work with other team members.
RESPONSABILITIES
Coordinate procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, including sourcing, creating purchase requests, and following up on orders and deliveries.
Manage relationships with IT vendors and suppliers, including contract management, renewals, and resolving service or delivery issues.
Maintain inventory of IT assets, update records for equipment issuance, returns, and disposals.
Perform basic troubleshooting for end-users, such as printer and connectivity issues, and provide first-level technical support.
Handle user account management, including password resets and basic access control.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT procedures, asset registers, procurement records, and support requests.
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process of employees with respect to IT assets and access.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance, servicing, or repairs of IT equipment with vendors as required.
Help the IT team in planning and executing small projects and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and company standards in all IT-related administrative activities.
Provide regular reports on procurement status, vendor performance, and asset inventory to IT management.
