IT Admin - Gaming Support
LOCATION
Private Estate - Fujairah ,UAE
The client will apply for the work visa and provide relocation if not local.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The IT Admin - Gaming Support provides personalised gaming assistance and high-level technical support for the familyu0027s gaming systems, ensuring a seamless, secure, and enjoyable user experience. This role also manages the estateu0027s core IT infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous optimisation of computer systems, servers, and networks to support both the household and family office.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Bacheloru0027s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or RHCSA are advantageous.
• UAE driveru0027s licence is an advantage.
• Strong passion for gaming across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
• Basic technical understanding of gaming hardware, software, and system integrations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; additional languages are a plus.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Technical Experience

• Proven experience as a System or Network Administrator with hands-on knowledge of installations and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, PC) and VR/AR devices.
• Installing, updating, and maintaining games, gaming systems, and accessories.
• Managing gaming accounts, profiles, system settings, and storage.
• Familiarity with PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, Steam, and related platforms.
• Experience with Windows and macOS systems.
• Familiarity with bug reporting tools.
• Basic Python scripting knowledge for troubleshooting mods or custom content.

Key Skills & Responsibilities
Gaming Support

• Provide technical support for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gaming devices.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot games, consoles, VR/AR systems, and accessories.
• Manage user profiles, system settings, storage, and parental controls.
• Guide users through online gaming platforms, updates, and downloadable content.
• Maintain awareness of new games, patches, and hardware trends.
• Offer timely, friendly, and professional responses to user gaming inquiries.

IT System Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and system tools.
• Manage network servers and ensure reliable network availability.
• Implement and monitor security measures, firewalls, and access controls.
• Monitor performance, detect intrusions, and maintain system reliability.
• Maintain data backups, test recovery processes, and ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, liaising with vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and network schematics.
• Provide application and network resource training to users.
• Develop scripts to automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and software update requirements.
