We seek an experienced consultant to lead client engagements in designing and implementing end-to-end data privacy programs and classification frameworks. You will translate regulatory requirements into actionable strategies, ensuring alignment with Qatar-specific regulations and global standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage team, review deliverables, and resolve client/team issues.
Mentor juniors and consultant teams on activities and frameworks such as (PDPPL, NDCP v3.0, QCB).
Implement and provide consultancy services for data privacy and classification programs compliant with
Qatar PDPPL
,
QCB regulations
,
NDCP v3.0
,
Qatar Cybersecurity Framework,
GDPR and other applicable regulations.
Design data privacy and classification schemas for clients, mapping controls to ISO 27701, ISO 27018, NIST, and other applicable international standards.
Conduct governance activities including but not limited to: gap analyses, risk assessments, DPIAs, Data inventory and cataloguing, auditing, maturity evaluations, KPI measurements, and data privacy and classification governance documentation.
Lead workshops, train client teams, and develop policies/templates (e.g., RoPAs, DPIA , Data Inventory and frameworks).
Advise on cloud data protection (ISO 27018) and aspects of Qatar's laws and regulations.
Support audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 27701).
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Must-Have:
o 3-6 years in data privacy/classification consulting or InfoSec.
o Hands-on experience with
Qatar PDPPL
,
QCB regulations
, GDPR or GCC regulations.
o Proven track record in implementing ISO 27701, ISO 27018, or NIST-based programs.
o Expertise in data mapping, classification tools (e.g., Boldon James, MS Purview), and DLP solutions.
o Fluent in English
o Fluent in
Arabic is a must
Additional Points:
o Certification such as CDPSE, CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27701 LI/LA, ISO 27018 LI/LA or CISSP are a plus.
