We are seeking an

experienced Data Privacy Consultant

to join a leading healthcare organization in Doha, Qatar. The role involves delivering a complete privacy framework implementation aligned with Qatar's

Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL)

,

GDPR

, and other international privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a complete data privacy framework for healthcare operations. Conduct data mapping, inventory documentation, and privacy impact assessments. Establish encryption standards, role-based access controls, and data retention protocols. Manage vendor and third-party privacy risks. Oversee cross-border data transfer compliance and localization requirements. Conduct breach simulation exercises and set up an audit & monitoring framework. Deliver employee privacy and security awareness training.

Requirements

10+ years

of experience in data privacy implementation. Expertise in

Qatar PDPPL, GDPR

, or similar international privacy regulations. Proven experience in the

healthcare industry

, especially with patient data protection. Successful implementation of privacy frameworks in large organizations. At least one valid certification: ISO 27701 CDPSE CIPP / CIPM (IAPP) Strong skills in privacy-enhancing technologies, data discovery tools, and security monitoring. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
