Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Islamic Studies Teacher

to join a well-reputed school in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that promote a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, history, and culture. This role involves creating an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment while supporting students' spiritual, moral, and academic growth. The teacher will help foster a deeper connection to Islamic values through dynamic lesson planning, assessments, and interactive discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning & Delivery:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans covering the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Islamic history, and the Arabic language. Use diverse teaching methods and resources to cater to various learning styles. Ensure lessons align with the school's curriculum and meet the educational needs of students.

Classroom Management:

Cultivate a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning and participation. Maintain discipline while promoting Islamic values, good behavior, and respect. Encourage a sense of community and cooperation among students.

Student Development:

Support students' spiritual, moral, and social development through activities and discussions related to Islamic teachings. Encourage students to embody Islamic values in their daily lives. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and their parents.

Assessment & Reporting:

Assess students' understanding through tests, assignments, and group work. Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress.

Extracurricular Activities:

Participate in school activities related to Islamic learning, such as Quran competitions and charity events. Assist with organizing religious celebrations, study groups, and other extracurricular activities.

Professional Development:

Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods, curriculum changes, and Islamic studies developments. Attend school meetings and professional development sessions. Contribute to the overall academic and spiritual growth of the school community.

Qualifications:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience

: 1-3 years of experience teaching Islamic Studies or related subjects (preferred).

Additional Requirements

: ADEK Appointment letter is mandatory.

Skills:

Deep knowledge of Islamic teachings, history, and culture. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment. Familiarity with curriculum design and assessment methods. Proficiency in Arabic and/or English.

Certifications (Preferred):

Ijazah in Quranic recitation or any relevant certification in Islamic Studies. Teacher training or educational qualifications (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) is a plus.

Benefits:

Salary: AED 3,000 - 3,500 / month
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
