Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and maintain irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, and automated systems).
Inspect irrigation systems for wear, damage, and efficiency; repair or replace defective parts.
Set and adjust irrigation timers and controllers based on seasonal requirements.
Monitor water usage and system performance to ensure efficient operation.
Collaborate with landscape or agricultural teams to plan and implement irrigation layouts.
Troubleshoot wiring, valves, pumps, and control systems.
Perform routine maintenance and seasonal system checks (start-ups, shutdowns, and winterizing if applicable).
Maintain accurate service records and report issues promptly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an irrigation technician or similar role.
Knowledge of irrigation tools, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Strong understanding of water conservation practices.
Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license (if travel to sites is required).
