Job Description
The
Draughtsman
plays a key role in translating design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans for landscaping projects. This position is responsible for preparing detailed layouts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and collaborating with designers, engineers, and project managers to bring landscape visions to life.Key Responsibilities:
Drafting & Design Support:
Develop and produce
detailed technical drawings
for landscaping projects, including site plans, elevations, and sections. Ensure accuracy indimensions, materials, and specifications
in alignment with design requirements. Revise drawings based on feedback from designers, engineers, and project managers. Maintain an organizedlibrary of drawings, blueprints, and project files
.Project Coordination:
Collaborate with
landscape architects, engineers, and site teams
to interpret design concepts and technical requirements. Assist in the preparation ofBOQs, material specifications, and cost estimates
where required. Ensure drawings comply withlocal regulations, safety codes, and industry standards
. Provide technical support forinstallation, site inspections, and project execution
.Software & Documentation Management:
Utilize
AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other drafting software
to create precise layouts. Maintain digital records and ensure document control processes are followed. Support the development ofpresentation materials, reports, and landscape visualizations
.Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in
Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field
. Proven experience inlandscaping, architecture, or construction drafting
. Proficiency inAutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
. Strong understanding oflandscape materials, irrigation systems, and plant selection
. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
