We are seeking a skilled Iranian Kabab Chef with strong expertise in traditional Persian grilling techniques. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing authentic Iranian kababs, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and grill a variety of authentic Iranian kababs, including
Koobideh, Barg, Joojeh Kabab, Chenjeh, Shishlik
, and regional specialties
Select, cut, marinate, and season meats according to traditional Persian recipes
Operate and maintain charcoal or gas grills to achieve authentic flavor and texture
Ensure proper skewering techniques and even cooking
Prepare accompaniments such as saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, flatbread, and traditional garnishes
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
Manage inventory of meats, spices, and supplies related to kabab preparation
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required
Minimize food waste and follow cost-control procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Iranian Kabab Chef or Persian grill specialist
In-depth knowledge of Persian spices, marinades, and cooking methods
Ability to work with high-volume service while maintaining quality
Skilled in charcoal grilling techniques
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Physical stamina to work in a hot kitchen environment
Team-oriented with good time-management skills
