Job Description
Seeking an experienced IP CCTV Supervisor for a short-term project in Qatar to oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of IP CCTV systems. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, monitoring system performance, coordinating with technicians and contractors, troubleshooting issues, and preparing reports. Requires a Diploma or degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation Engineering, 5+ years' relevant experience (including 2 years in GCC), strong English skills, and MS Office proficiency.
Nature and Scope of Position / Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations, installation, and maintenance of IP CCTV systems. Monitor system performance and ensure CCTV coverage and functionality. Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues. Troubleshoot technical faults and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed project files, system configurations, and maintenance logs. Prepare reports detailing system performance, maintenance activities, and incidents. Ensure compliance with security, safety, and confidentiality guidelines. Perform other duties as directed by the Engineer or authorized representative.
Experience and Education:
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in CCTV/IP surveillance systems (including 2 years in GCC). Fluency in written and spoken English. Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, internet research, and professional report preparation. Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid visa/QID.
