Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced
IoT Hardware Engineer
to support deployment and maintenance of smart gas metering systems under theADNOC Smart Metering Project
. The role involvesfield installation, signal testing, device integration, and coordination with technical teams
to ensure successful implementation of NB-IoT enabled devices.Responsibilities:
Install and configure
NB-IoT-enabled smart gas meters and gateways
at ADNOC field locations. Performsignal testing
(e.g., RSSI, RSRP, SNR) and verify device connectivity. Coordinate with project managers and technical support teams to ensure timely execution. Troubleshoot hardware and communication issues (NB-IoT, Cat-M1, 4G modules). Maintain accurate installation logs and documentation for each deployment. Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards during on-site work. Assist in periodic maintenance, firmware upgrades, and diagnostics as needed.Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering Minimum 2 years of experience with IoT hardware installation and maintenance Knowledge of
NB-IoT
, LTE-M, or GSM-based device communication Familiar with network signal testing tools and SIM configuration Able to read technical drawings and device manualsPrevious experience in ADNOC or government projects is highly preferred
