Our client, a leading Private Equity firm based in the UAE is looking to hire an investment director for their growing team. As the Investment Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing their investment strategy within the digital infrastructure and smart mobility sectors on a global scale. Your responsibilities will encompass origination, deal structuring, execution, and collaboration with external advisors to drive the success of their investment initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and refine the investment strategy for the digital infrastructure and smart mobility sectors, considering market trends, growth opportunities, and risk factors
- Proactively identify and source potential investment opportunities through a combination of industry research, networking, and relationship-building with industry players
- Evaluate potential investments based on financial analysis, market research, and alignment with the firm\'s investment criteria
- Lead end-to-end deal execution processes, including due diligence, financial modeling, structuring, negotiation, and documentation for both direct investments and co-investments
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess potential risks and opportunities, ensuring thorough and comprehensive due diligence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external advisors, including legal counsel, investment banks, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with external partners to ensure the smooth execution of transactions and adherence to regulatory and legal requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the digital infrastructure and smart mobility sectors
- Leverage insights from market research to make informed investment decisions and shape the firm\'s investment strategy.
- Prepare and present investment proposals, progress reports, and portfolio updates to the firm\'s senior management and investment committee
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding investment performance, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 14 years of relevant experience across digital infrastructure and smart mobility sectors
- Proven track record of originating, executing, and managing successful investments in the relevant sectors on a global scale
- Strong financial acumen and expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
