: :Director of ICT For Smart & Cognitive CitiesNEOM The Line - Dubai'What You'll Be Doing'Lead a team of highly skilled professionals ranging from IT/OT, IOT, Data Center, IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity SME.Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and share knowledge with the team members to support their overall development.Develop ICT scope pertaining to Smart & Cognitive cities from RFPs or through meeting with the client directly.Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.Lead the adoption of new technologies, to enhance customer experience through optimum support, while ensuring that ICT solutions are in line with industry standards.Collaborate with senior management in the development of ICT strategies, specifying requirements, assist in feasibility studies to identify benefits of alternative strategies, and producing strategic models of the organization's information and communications needs and highlighting the potential risks and impacts of those strategies.Plan and execute technology changes based on the changing business requirement while ensuring informed decision-making so that an appropriate balance between benefits, opportunities, costs, and risks related to the suggested technology can be demonstrated to stakeholders.Maintain relationships with contractors and vendors and review their performance periodically to ensure that organization receives high quality ICT services in accordance with defined SLAs and industry's best practices are followed.Support Contracts & vendors team in negotiations with vendors for renewal of existing contracts of different types as well as for new agreements, ensuring technical aspects are well covered and vendors adhere to them going forward.Evaluate and recommend supplier's proposal received against RFQ/RFP's and assist procurement in selecting fit for purpose, cost effective solutions.Ability to demonstrate expertise in digital and multi-channel technology solutions, covering all layers of the technology stack, from presentation through to physical infrastructure.Invent and build solutions that solve complex problems, scale globally, guarantee performance, and enable breakthrough innovations,Help customers define their business outcomes and guide their technical architecture and investments.Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices, and artifacts that will guide customers, publish and present them in large forums and across various media platforms.Coach and mentor fellow team members on latest ICT technologies, services and best practices.Build and nurture strategic business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, partners, and vendors.Directly contribute ideas and project scope to explore nascent products and ICT technologies to evolve the business.'What Required Skills You'll Bring'Preferably master's degree qualified with Engineering or Architecture.Experience delivering strategies and projects for cities, regions, developments, and communities to help the harness the potential of digital technologies.Experience of working with national or local government bodies and/or with property and infrastructure companiesAnalytical and Numerical skills are a strong advantageExpertise in both relevant technologies (such as 4G/5G communications, IoT, big data/analytics, cloud, virtualization, and data center technologies) and their business, social and economic impactExcellent communication, including both oral and written EnglishExperience working in multi-disciplinary teamsExperience working with planners, urban designers, and other built environment design disciplines to identify ICT related scope and opportunities.Experience of networking and ability to build client relationships.Experience/knowledge in ITIL4, COBIT and TOGAF, BICSI-RCDD, CISSP.PMP/PRINCE2/Agile will be good to have.This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this position.
