:

We are searching for an Investment Associate (Private Equity) \xe2\x80\x93 Emirati national to work with a well-known government entity in Abu Dhabi.

In this role, The Investment Associate will help to facilitate the investments within Private Equity and Infrastructure asset class. This position includes responsibilities for building and maintaining financial models, evaluating investment proposals, contributing to due diligence and supporting the Head of Private Equity & Infrastructure in the assessment, structuring and negotiation of Principal Investments

Other responsibilities will include:

\xc2\xb7 Prepare financial models and sensitivities, review external sources of due diligence on

\xc2\xb7 principal investments, and support the Private Equity Group in the assessment, structuring and negotiation of principal investments.

\xc2\xb7 Perform financial analysis, coordinate with advisors on due diligence on principal investments and external managers for the private equity investment pools.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare investment proposal presentations and memorandums to be presented to the Investment Committee and Executive Committee

\xc2\xb7 Support the Head of PE & Infra on the development of investment recommendations.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor and analyze investments in the existing Portfolio.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain database of Fund peer groups within PE & Infra.

\xc2\xb7 Review periodical reports of private equity investment managers/general partners and

\xc2\xb7 principal investments. Analyze fund manager\xe2\x80\x99s estimate of fair values of each holding and make valuation recommendations.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor accounting and performance calculation for each investment to ensure proper determination of investment performance.

\xc2\xb7 Work with Operations personnel to ensure appropriate accounting for investments performance, detect errors and assist Operations in receiving all information it requires from internal and external sources on a timely basis, including financial statements and fair value estimates.

\xc2\xb7 Provide and coordinate information and reporting requested by the Investment Directors, Finance and CIO\xe2\x80\x99s

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in finance or any related courses

\xc2\xb7 Emirati national with a valid family book and UAE passport

\xc2\xb7 4 - 6 years\' experience in n a reputable Investment bank, Private Equity fund manager, Asset Management firm or another Sovereign Wealth Fund.

\xc2\xb7 MBA is desirable, CFA or any investment-related certifications will be a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Good experience of doing due diligence, structuring and legal documentation negotiation

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of investing as a Limited Partner (LP) in various Funds

\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English, fluency in Arabic an advantage

\xc2\xb7 Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
