Job Description

A confidential European Family Office with an active investment footprint across the GCC and Europe is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Abu Dhabi office. The team operates in a lean, high?performing environment, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and hands?on involvement across the full investment cycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong analyst looking to accelerate their development on the buy?side.
Investment Analysis & Financial Modelling

  • Build and maintain 3?statement financial models, valuation models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and scenario analyses.
  • Analyse historical financials and develop base, downside, and upside cases for potential investments.
  • Conduct sensitivity testing, stress testing, and capital structure analysis to support investment decisions.
Deal Execution Support
  • Assist in evaluating opportunities across sectors and geographies, including the GCC and Europe.
  • Support due diligence processes (financial, commercial, operational) in coordination with advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare investment memos, IC presentations, pitch materials, and analytical summaries for senior decision?makers.
Market & Sector Research
  • Conduct market mapping, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify trends and potential opportunities.
  • Support screening of targets, partners, and co?investment opportunities.
Portfolio Monitoring
  • Track performance of existing investments, analyse variances, and prepare periodic reporting.
  • Support ongoing value?creation initiatives and strategic reviews.
Cross?Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and investment strategy.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, consultants, and legal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Accelerated Learning CurveMeaningful Impact
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Progress toward CFA or similar qualifications is an advantage
  • 2-3 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, or Valuations.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
  • Exposure to deal execution or investment analysis is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a lean team, take ownership, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in buy?side investing.
