Job Title: Inventory Purchases Accountant

Key Responsibilities:



1. Procurement & Inventory Accounting:



Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels to ensure uninterrupted operations across maintenance projects. Prepare purchase requisitions and procurement lists based on stock consumption reports and project needs. Perform periodic stock verifications and assist in annual physical inventory counts in coordination with warehouse personnel. Liaise with suppliers to request quotations, evaluate responses, and conduct comparative analysis to select the most cost-effective and reliable vendors. Prepare LOPs (List of Proposals) and submit recommendations for purchase approvals as per company policy. Record and post Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and handle GRN returns accurately in the ERP system. Ensure precise three-way matching of purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier invoices to prevent discrepancies. Post supplier invoices and coordinate with the finance department to schedule and process timely vendor payments. Coordinating with Suppliers for any requirements

2. Finance & Compliance Duties:



Maintain accurate accounts payable records and support monthly vendor reconciliations. Ensure all purchasing transactions comply with UAE VAT regulations and internal audit policies. Support the month-end and year-end closing process by preparing accruals, prepayments, and inventory valuation reports. Collaborate with auditors during internal or external audits by providing supporting documents and reconciliations. Prepare detailed financial reports related to inventory consumption, purchase trends, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in a similar role, preferably in facilities management or building maintenance.

Strong understanding of inventory accounting and UAE VAT law.

Proficiency in accounting software such as

Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP/Oracle

.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
