Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive

Inventory Manager

to oversee and manage our company's inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels, accuracy, and timely fulfillment. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, analyzing inventory performance, and implementing procedures to improve inventory control and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage inventory levels across all storage locations (warehouses, retail locations, etc.) Develop and implement effective inventory management procedures and best practices. Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile with inventory management systems. Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Forecast inventory needs and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock. Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods. Work closely with procurement, logistics, sales, and production teams to align inventory strategies with business goals. Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or warehouse management systems. Identify opportunities to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs. Generate regular reports on inventory status, trends, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to storage and handling.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in inventory control or warehouse management. Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lead and train warehouse/inventory staff. Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
