Inventory Data Entry Clerk (F&B Industry)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Operations / Supply Chain
Reports to: Inventory Controller / Warehouse Manager
About the Role
We are a dynamic Food & Beverage group seeking a meticulous and reliable Inventory Data Entry Clerk to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data across multiple outlets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all stock movements are recorded correctly, supporting efficient operations, cost control, and seamless reporting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Record Maintenance: Accurately input all stock entries, including purchases, receipts, transfers, and wastage into the inventory management system and Excel.
  • Stock Reconciliation: Assist in conducting regular physical stock counts and cycle counts, reconciling system data with actual stock on hand.
  • Report Generation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports (e.g., stock levels, variance reports, consumption reports) for management review.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, delivery notes, and stock adjustment forms.
  • System Management: Ensure the inventory system is updated in real-time to reflect accurate stock levels for each F&B outlet.
  • Variance Analysis: Help investigate and report any discrepancies or variances between system and physical counts.
  • Communication: Collaborate closely with warehouse staff, kitchen teams, and procurement to verify information and resolve data queries.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data entry, inventory control, or a similar role, preferably within the F&B, hospitality, or retail sector.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas is a must).
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Netsuite, SAP, TradeGecko, or F&B-specific systems).
  • Core Competencies:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high consistency.
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
