The inventory controller is primarily responsible for increasing and maintaining company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels; the candidate also ensures that optimal inventory is present and ready for use whilst ensuring zero stock loss.
Job Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\x93 Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
\xe2\x80\x93 Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
\xe2\x80\x93 Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
\xe2\x80\x93 Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
\xe2\x80\x93 Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
\xe2\x80\x93 Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
\xe2\x80\x93 Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
\xe2\x80\x93 Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
\xe2\x80\x93 File claims when defective products are discovered.
\xe2\x80\x93 Coordinate with customer service and dispatch departments.
\xe2\x80\x93 Coach other employees in inventory management.
\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure all stock items (trading material or produced) are updated in the accounting software on a daily basis.
\xe2\x80\x93 Undertake any other activity assigned by the management.
