Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description

Core responsibilities

Inventory monitoring and control:

Track all incoming and outgoing inventory, maintain accurate records using inventory management systems, and conduct regular physical counts or cycle counts to resolve discrepancies.

Stock level management:

Ensure that inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand without excess or shortage, which involves forecasting future needs.

Order and delivery coordination:

Place purchase orders, coordinate deliveries with suppliers, and oversee the receiving of goods.

Data analysis and reporting:

Analyze inventory data to identify trends, report on key metrics like accuracy and return rates, and develop strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Collaboration and communication:

Work with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and logistics, to align on inventory needs and resolve issues.
Essential skills

Data entry and record-keeping:

Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.

Analytical skills:

Analyze data to identify trends, spot inefficiencies, and make informed decisions.

Organizational skills:

Keep storage areas organized and ensure items are in the correct locations.

Problem-solving skills:

Investigate and correct discrepancies between physical stock and records.

Communication skills:

Effectively communicate with vendors, management, and other internal teams.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
