Assist in the design, development, and testing of new and improved refrigeration products under the guidance of senior engineers. Contribute to technical aspects of the product lifecycle, from initial concepts to testing phases. Support Rime's commitment to leading-edge refrigeration technology for commercial and industrial clients.
Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities (for the Internship):
Support research and development initiatives focused on advanced refrigeration systems and components for commercial and industrial use.
Assist in the conceptualization, design, modeling, and simulation of innovative product concepts and enhancements to existing Rime products, with a focus on performance, energy efficiency, and manufacturability.
Assist in the evaluation of components from industry suppliers based on technical specifications.
Participate in the development and execution of testing protocols to validate the performance, durability, and safety of prototypes.
Assist in the analysis of test data and the preparation of technical reports.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams on product development activities.
Learn about the latest advancements in refrigeration technologies, industry trends, and regulations.
Assist in the investigation of new materials, components, and manufacturing techniques.
Contribute to the documentation of technical information.
Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges related to product design and performance.
Participate in design review meetings, providing input and learning from the discussions.
Knowledge (for the Internship):
Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
Interest in learning about refrigeration systems and components.
Familiarity with 3D modeling software (preferably Solidworks) is a plus.
Interest in energy efficiency and project management concepts is desirable.
Qualifications (for the Internship):
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
Strong academic record.
Passion for innovation and engineering design.
