Position: Consulting Intern
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Position Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Research and Data Science with consulting projects for new and existing pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. The jobholder is required to help with daily tasks, adhere to project deadlines, demonstrate close attention to detail, and abide by strict quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
xc2xb7 Work with the Consultancy team across a broad range of access strategy, communications, and research assignments. This includes but is not limited to:

Assisting in the development of market access strategies for emerging markets.
xc2xb7
Supporting the evaluation of the economic value of programs aimed at increasing patient access to treatment.
xc2xb7
Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
xc2xb7
Support the scheduling and preparation of stakeholder interviews in project countries.
xc2xb7
Participate in the design and preparation of project documents and presentations.
xc2xb7
Perform literature reviews and other desk research.
xc2xb7
Generate meaningful qualitative and quantitative analysis for consultancy projects.

Assist with business development, including proposal development for pharmaceutical companies.

Reporting any adverse events/product complaints as per the clients requirements and/or Axios SOPPs
Relationships

Reports to Head of Research and Data Science

Develop good relations across all levels in Axios, as well as with clients and key stakeholders.

• Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with Project Team Leaders, including Axios regional and global staff.

Educational Background and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Global Health, or Statistics with an interest in Global Health issues
• Masters Degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Global Health, or Statistics with an interest in Global Health issues (desired).

0-2 years professional experience within the Healthcare context is an advantage
Written and spoken fluency in English
Strong competency in Excel, PowerPoint and the full MS Office Suite. * Experience with Python, R, and/or another statistical software package is an advantage
Job Circumstances

• The position is based in Axios Regional Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Flexibility in working hours is essential.
