International Team Leader - Design (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

- Responsible for project management of a large-scale engineering and technical assistance project
- Management of multi-national project team (including remote management)
- Ensure project implementation according to schedule
- Preliminary and detailed design of water supply facilities in multiple locations
- Provide technical quality assurance according to international standards
- Coordination with public sector clients, International Financing Institutions and other stakeholders
Your Qualifications and Skills
Our Offer
- M.Sc. in water resources management, natural resource management, environmental management, hydrology, hydraulics, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, hydro engineering, mechanical engineering, civil or environmental engineering or equivalent
- 10 years of international professional experience in the water supply and sewerage sector
- Local and regional experience would be an asset
- Knowledge of Palestinian planning and approval procedures would be an asset
- Project management for at least 4 projects (international experience) of similar nature, including detailed design of large water supply and sewerage projects of at least comparable size
- Excellent monitoring and reporting skills
- Experience on projects funded by International Financing Institutions with consulting companies
- Experience working in developing countries (preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the MENA region)
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills
