: The International Project and Event Manager will take full responsibility for managing and delivering events, including marketing, promotion, and sales to ensure the smooth delivery of each overseas event. The manager will work on two categories of events, namely managed overseas exhibition groups and overseas trade delegations. Key aims and objectives:
  • Support companies to explore and develop international business opportunities.
  • Promote the organization internationally, raise its profile and build relationships.
Prime responsibilities and duties: Overseas Exhibitions (Event Promotion) **Develop and distribute publicity materials such as bulk mailers and marketing campaigns. **Proactively recruit exhibitors to the group through various channels such as targeted mailings, ring-rounds, Company meetings and forums, stakeholders, and third parties. **Organize webinars to promote the events and help companies better understand the local market. Overseas Exhibitions (Event Management) **Serve as the main point of contact for all exhibition-related queries and work closely with the overseas events Coordinator. **Create and update budgets for each exhibition and manage the registration and invoicing process of exhibiting companies in collaboration with the overseas events administrator. **Manage virtual elements of each event. **Co-ordinate a competitive tender process for freight and travel partners in conjunction with the head of overseas events. **Liaise regularly with the event organizer, local embassy staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the event. **Work on the onsite \'value-added offer\' to include \'Meet the Buyer,\' One2One sessions, Presentations, and Receptions. **Produce an exhibitor manual and organize and chair exhibition briefing meetings/webinars. **Liaise with local Department for International Trade (DIT) staff about a group reception, one-to-one meetings, presentations, and additional networking events. **Send out a \'final briefing pack\' to the group and the company staff attending. Overseas Exhibitions (Onsite Responsibilities) **Attend exhibitions where possible to supervise build-up and ensure that stands are built to specification and freight is delivered on time. **Be the focal point for all onsite requests from exhibitors, prior, during, and after the exhibition, managing all onsite value-added events to ensure they run smoothly. Oversee the running of the company information stand and group lounge where appropriate. Overseas Exhibitions (Post-Event Responsibilities) **Write a post-event report and collect feedback forms from exhibitors. **Send thank-you letters to suppliers and exhibitors. **Distribute DIT grants where applicable. **Finalize the event budget. Overseas Trade Delegations (Programme & event management) **Creating and distributing publicity materials and marketing campaigns **Proactively recruiting exhibitors to the delegation through various channels such as targeted mailings, follow-up on leads, etc. **Serving as the main point of contact for all delegation-related queries **Organizing webinars to promote the event and help companies better understand the local market **Liaising with relevant entities such as DIT Overseas posts, market desks, and embassy staff **Researching and identifying a priority list of companies to visit using company DataStream **Coordinating delegation itineraries and meetings with company overseas regional managers and DIT third parties **Preparing delegation budgets and managing the registration and invoicing process of participating companies **Producing delegation brochures and sending out final itineraries and briefing packs to the group You will also be responsible for attending delegations when possible to manage the itinerary and serve as the focal point for onsite requests from delegates. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing delegation reports, completing event manager feedback forms, and coordinating all business cards and presentations from the meetings. The successful candidate will have: **Strong planning and organizational skills **Teamwork skills and the ability to take a hands-on role **Results-oriented approach and the ability to use initiative to ensure excellent results in this key front-line area **Excellent communication skills **Previous experience in international event management **Experience in marketing, social media, and sales **Ability to multitask and prioritize workload **Willingness to travel overseas Key internal interfaces include the CEO, Director of International Trade, project and events managers, regional directors and event managers, UK events team, membership team, marketing team, and sector analysts. Key external interfaces include company members and non-members attending our events, suppliers, DIT, British Embassy, and exhibition organizers, freight, and travel partners. Salary: AED11,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month Experience:
