Job Description

The Internal Auditor prepares and conducts internal financial audits of maintaining accounting, auditing and industry knowledge, including ability to analyze and fluent project management skills along with excellent communication skill and leadership to verify contractual financial standards, service standards, business output, and compliance.
What You'll Do

• Conduct financial audits of various business unit to verify operating procedures are followed, statutory requirements are complied with, and contractual/service standards are being met.
• Conduct ad-hoc internal audits in an as-needed basis, or as requested by executive management.
• Complete audits in accordance with audit schedule.
• Ensure that all accounting procedures comply with corporate policy, statutes, regulations, and / or contractual standards
• Prepare and audit report that effectively communicates the audit results including recommendations and suggestions for corrective action.
• Liaise with external auditors during their visits.
• Submit audit reports in a timely manner to management, MOICT, and any other regulatory body.
• Creating and updating internal audit plan.

• Test the operation and design of existing controls.
• Assist in developing department procedures and maintaining inventory of business policies, practices and processes.
• Improve customer care by initiating improvements to underwriting and other operational controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
• A professional qualification is preferred: CMA, CPA, ACCA, ISO
• Minimum of 15 years of experience, with minimum of 7 years in an audit background.
• Excellent attention to detail.
