MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To carry out Audit engagements and to support the overall delivery of Internal Audit Services in line with flydubai Internal Audit Charter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assists in developing the Annual Audit plan in areas of airline operations, commercial, finance and other business processes.

• Carries out Audit engagements with focus on ensuring the Company meets financial, operational and compliance objectives.
• Assesses internal control deficiencies and reports to Management on action plan for improvement.
• Carries out ad-hoc/special assignments as directed by head of department, in order to investigate incidents, situations, suspected fraud or misconduct and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Maintains risk registers and assists Senior Management in documenting risk remediation plans.
• Prepares and maintains documentation such as Audit manual and other reports.
• Ensures that Audit assignments are conducted in accordance with the International Auditing Standards and Departmental Code of Ethics.
• Develops mutually agreed action plans through effective communication with management.
• Maintains Audit management system by periodic follow-up and action plan updates.
• Research\xe2\x80\x99s emerging issues and industry related risks to advise Management on risks and opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (or equivalent), Accounting, Finance

Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 6
• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) -8

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is mandatory
• Certified on Internal audit software such as ACL or any other data analysis software is desirable.

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
