An exciting new opportunity has come with one of our key clients in the UAE. Our client, which is a manufacturing company, is currently looking for an Internal Audit Manager. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the person will have the following responsibilities:

An exciting new opportunity has come with one of our key clients in the UAE. Our client, which is a manufacturing company, is currently looking for an Internal Audit Manager. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the person will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessment and support the Head of Internal Audit in development of a risk-based internal audit plan.
- Perform internal audit assignments as per the internal audit plan by conducting planning, fieldwork and reporting activities in compliance with the internal audit manual and professional auditing standards in order to provide management with insights into areas of risk that are not adequately controlled and identify opportunities for process and control improvements.
- Prepare working papers in accordance with the internal audit manual IA management system requirements, resolving all review comments on a timely basis and archiving of internal audit files.
- Carry out follow up reviews to assess the status of implementation of the management action plans and ensures the continuation of such follow up till satisfactory results are achieved.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following criteria:
- A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance or accounting
- Must have completed any of the qualification accounting qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 CIA / CPA / CFE / CA / ACCA
- Minimum 6 years in internal audit, preferably with extensive experience in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong grasp of internal audit policies, standards and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
