Secret Gardens LLC requires an

Intern Landscape Designer

for our high end design-oriented landscaping & pool company to work alongside our experienced team of architects, engineers & construction professionals. Main duties:

Discuss project requirements with your team Assist in the preparation of Architectural designs and drawings including preliminary concepts and sketches Work collaboratively with team members to ensure accuracy of early design work Assist with local developer & authority regulatory requirements Administer and maintain all project files and drawings Preparation of presentations for 2D sketches and 3D concept designs Participate in the preparation of marketing content Generate design development ideas Research building codes and standards / stay up to date with local developer & authority guidelines Develop 3D conceptual designs Familiarize yourself with the different types of building materials, lighting fixtures and other products related to landscape design Ensure design specifications align to safety standards and governmental regulations Liaise with design & operations departments to coordinate project details & regulations Produce renderings, illustrations, and construction documents to support design concepts Develop code-compliant designs

Requirements & Qualifications:

Must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate and able to meet deadlines under pressure Self management of time & documentation a necessity Save all files correctly to the server in a systematically, organised way Administration tasks related to your role should be clearly marked and done in a timely manner Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop & Microsoft Word Excellent communications and presentation skills

Experience:

Minimum bachelors degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or similar FRESH GRADUATES are welcome An understanding of GCC requirements (experience not necessary)
