Main responsibilities: To support boarding officers in the following role: Attend and board vessels as directed by respective Manager in accordance with Wilhelmsen Standard of Operation and Customer Requirements. Arrange inward and outward immigration/customs clearance. Collect and process ships documents, as required throughout the port call. Perform vessel visit, as required, in accordance with Standard of Operation and Customer Requirements, always ensuring with Master that all husbandry, vessel and cargo requirements are in order. As applicable, ensure all requirements relating to cargo matters are well understood and relayed to Manager and other relevant parties. Report leads, business opportunities and relevant port updates observed to Manager. Arrange sign on/off, shore passes or gate passes for crew/guests as instructed. Assist with transportation of VIP, Master and crew as instructed. Ensure mandatory use of WASP as reporting tool in compliance with the Standard of Operation. Reporting ships arrival/sailing/cargo/commence/complete/ times and condition to Shipping Assistant(s) after office hours, as applicable. Ensure mobile phones hired out to vessel are signed for by Master. Distribute and collect WSS Customer Satisfaction Survey. Comply with WSS Personal Protective Equipment Standard when working in ports/onboard vessels. Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment matters in own function. Ensure safe & efficient transportation of all Ships Agency crew personnel & any other personnel related to the company's activities. Ensure professional and timely transportation. Attend to any Government authority requirement pertaining to personnel. Ensure all the Travel document duly signed by the service utilizer. Report leads, business opportunities and relevant port updates observed to Manager.

Accountabilities This position will be measured against: Ensure consistent high level of accuracy of deliverables. Meet or exceed annual KPI's targets for Ships Agency performance. Overall accountable for all Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment matters related to the specified functions as per Functional Description.

Qualifications Bahraini National, aged 20-25years old. Graduate of Maritime and Logistics Study or similar course. Operations 1-2years experience from Maritime industry added advantage. Customer Service oriented. Good communication skills and a very good command of the English language (oral and written). Good interpersonal skills. Pro-active and well organized. Ability to work under pressure. Thorough and attentive to details. Valid Driving License. Fit to work.

Internship duration: 6 months only
