Intermediate Fullstack Engineer For Fast Growing Startup (python/django)

Job Description
This is a remote position, we're looking for a Django/Python Developer to join our small, but growing, engineering team. You will work directly with the Technology Lead and CEO of the company in a fast-growing start up environment, help in building and expanding the tech team. The daily scrum meeting will be held by a quick chat every morning . You will need to participate weekly in a few remote meetings with the entire team. The team is currently being established and set up.
Responsibilities:
- Improve existing features, as well as build out new ones across our Django / Python web platform.
- Help scale our platform with increasing demand.
- Design and construction of REST APIs.
- Experience with Python or other object oriented languages.
- Experience with JavaScript (ReactJS knowledge is a plus)
- Strong object-oriented design skills with an understanding of common design paradigms.
- 3+ Years of experience.
- Strong problem solving, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience writing unit and system level tests using dependency injection frameworks and object mocking.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
- Ability to effectively articulate and drive solutions to technical and business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills (ability to produce technical, and non-technical documentation)
