/ Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced

Interior Fit-Out Supervision Engineer

to oversee and manage interior works on-site. This is a

hands-on, site-focused role

; candidates should be prepared to spend the majority of their time on-site ensuring quality, progress, and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervise and monitor all interior fit-out works on-site, including carpentry, painting, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and MEP coordination. Ensure contractor work strictly adheres to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and progress reports. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, maintain daily/weekly reports, and update project management and clients. Assist in defect rectification, snagging, and final handover of interior works. Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and site teams as required.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out supervision or consultancy in Dubai/UAE. Strong knowledge of interior finishing trades including carpentry, painting, ceilings, joinery, and flooring. Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate based on drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Proven experience coordinating with contractors, site teams, and design consultants. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Familiarity with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Ability to manage multiple site activities effectively and work under minimal office supervision.

. The candidate should be fully prepared for fieldwork and regular site presence rather than office-based duties.
