Job Summary
The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior design projects from concept to completion while coordinating with clients, project teams, and vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Meet clients to understand design requirements, budgets, and timelines
Develop design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and space planning
Prepare 2D drawings (plans, elevations, sections) and coordinate 3D visuals
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures
Prepare BOQs and assist in cost estimation
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams during execution
Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is implemented accurately
Resolve design-related issues during execution
Assist in final handover and snag-list closure
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
2-5 years of experience in interior contracting projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, MS Office
Knowledge of materials, finishes, and execution methods
Strong communication and presentation skills
