Hermas Interiors LLC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Interior Designer / Project Manager
to lead and manage interior design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should have strong design expertise, excellent project management skills, and thorough knowledge of UAE design standards, policies, and permit procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings based on client requirements and company standards.
Prepare mood boards, 3D renderings, and material selections.
Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously from design to handover.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and adherence to project goals.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Source materials, furniture, and finishes in alignment with design specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
Ensure all designs and installations comply with
UAE regulations, authorities' policies, and permit requirements
(e.g. Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DCD).
Prepare documentation and assist in obtaining necessary NOCs and approvals from relevant authorities.
Lead client presentations and project meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design and project management in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, etc.).
In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, permit processes, and authority regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders.
Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
UAE driving license is an advantage.
