Junior Interior Designer

to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong aesthetic sense, technical knowledge, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Role Overview

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will assist in the development of design concepts, space planning, material selections, mood boards, and client presentations. You will also be responsible for creating

3D models using SketchUp

to visualize designs and communicate the concept effectively to the client and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior designers in developing

concepts, space plans, and presentation decks

Assist with

material and finishes selections

, including sampling and supplier coordination Create and update

mood boards

, design storyboards, and concept presentations Prepare

furniture layouts

, basic 2D drawings, and support with markup annotations Create

3D models using SketchUp

to visualize interior spaces and concepts Coordinate with drafting and visualization teams to align designs and visual outputs Attend site visits for measurement, material checks, and styling support Research styles, trends, and materials for design innovation Maintain organized

design documentation

, catalogs, and finish schedules Assist in preparing client presentation files and design approval packages

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

(Mandatory*)

1-3 years of UAE experience

in interior design, ideally in fit-out projects Proficient in

SketchUp

for 3D modeling and concept visualization Working knowledge of

AutoCAD

,

Photoshop

,

PowerPoint

, and

MS Office

Basic knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting, and joinery detailing Strong design sensibility and attention to visual presentation Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from senior team members

Preferred

Familiarity with Revit or InDesign is a plus Experience working in a

design & build

or fit-out company Interest in luxury residential and corporate office interiors
